Warren County Career Center Program

The Cooperative Education Program combines traditional schooling with a hybrid work experience of trades in our area. Opposed to just theoretical knowledge, students get to see real world issues that mechanics see to understand the dynamic and unpredictable, as well as unique, issues that trained automotive technicians see on the daily. At Jones Chevrolet of Warren we have been a part of this program for six years and work with the Career Center to bring in young, aspiring, automotive technicians to our service department. Giving them that daily understanding of what goes on outside of school and in their aspiring field.

Our service manager Scott Dyke represents and leads the program for us, also involved in offering mock interviews to students in their senior year so they can come into the workforce well prepared and ahead of many like them. Scott represents our dealership at job fairs in our county to encourage students to participate in this program for real-world experience or a path to a career from graduation.
